3M™ Automotive Attachment Tape, 3M-6394, uses automotive OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) approved acrylic foam core and adhesive technology. 3M-6394 is characterized by high peel and shear adhesion, high internal strength, high conformability and excellent plasticizer resistance. Typical applications would include body kits, spoilers, ground effects, claddings, running boards, fascia inserts, and other exterior trim parts where there is mismatch between bonding surface contours and a thicker tape is needed. 3M ™ Adhesion Promoter 3M-6396 is recommended for use in conjunction with 3M™ Automotive Attachment Tape, 3M-6394, for optimum tape-to-part adhesion on parts made of plastic material such as TPO, PPO, PP, PC, PC + ABS, etc.
