Rounded edge substantially reduces risk of burning painted surface from the edge of the backing plate. More defined rigid construction allows for increased durability, easy self-centering of hook backing plate, better control with high speed buffing action. The ORANGE foam is an everyday medium cut pad for average/medium to light oxidation.
